Cambridge Exams and Their Potential Use in Further Education of Teachers

Abstract

The paper deals with the importace of Cambridge exams, their organisation and quality.In accordance with the classification of University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the exams are divided into four categories: general and for schools, academic and professional, business and teaching qualifications. Each category is further analysed with regard to its potential in further education of teachers.
