Abstrakt
A detailed analysis of the nearly forgotten "small journal" The Czech Film World describes many fundamental features of the Czech film and even the smaller cinematography as hybridity, hybridization, DIY principle etc. I hope that it will also become a foundation of a further debate on the changing influences on film in Central Europe as opposed to locally specific features of film.
