Abstract
The paper describes an alternative to the common dormitory in schools for the Deaf: an apartment in the center of Hradec Králové, in which six children living there. They study in the local elementary school for the Deaf.
Deaf teacher cares for the children and the life in the apartment - Apples is very similar to the normal life of a Czech family.
