This contribution deals with possibilities, potential and various aspects of implementation and employment of micro-computer based laboratory (MBL) in science education. The contribution presents advantages and disadvantages of science education using MBL, identify problems hindering the wider expansion of MBL in schools and proposes solutions.
It also present COMBLAB project, which is focused on the implementation of MBL into the science education in secondary schools, and also presents its goals and outcomes and contribution to the expansion of MBL in secondary schools.
