Abstract
The essay on the retrospective exhibition of the Louny based after-war artist Vladislav Mirvald tries to up-grade the artistic importance of this original creator. As the tireless experimenter, in the modernistic way absorbed in his own formal tools of art, he worked mainly in the form of lettrism, op art, concretism and geometrical abstraction.
