Abstract
Given lecture has been intended for the sixth grade students of the primary school Jih in Mariánské Lázně. It has focused on archaeology of ancient Italy - especially Etruscan and Roman - and also has discussed their contacts with our territory.
The archeological research in Tuscany has been used as an example of a field work at site of the period of Roman Empire and in this connection were presented used research methods.
