Abstrakt
The publication derives from researches, which were conducted in 2009 and 2011 in the Uruwa Valley, Morobe province, Papua New Guinea. The purpose of the book is to describe how the students from the Yawan primary school understand their culture using visual representations in their own drawings.
The book also includes information about the Nungon community, a historical and a cultural overview to indicate what factors determine the perception of their culture.
