Abstract

Author gives the fictional existence to an imaginable world, which is the Egyptian Alexandria in the 40th 20th century. In the fictional world are no restrictions concerning the persons that did not exist or could not participate in historical events.

Alexandria performs in novelistic work of Edwar al-Charrat in the local and time narrative presentation of the historical fiction, it is also a part of the narrative context of interpersonal relationships. The novel interpretation of the text is based on a comparison of general and personal levels.
