Abstract
Theology and philosophy are not two independent fields of human knowledge opposed mutually one to each other. Their unity springs not from their terminological convergences or divergences, but from their most inner sense and aim, which is always care for the soul.
The care for the soul already implies responsibility for care for the soul of my neighbour - ethics. Philosopher's or theologian's authenticity derives from his capability to witness in favour of this original spiritual unity.
