Gender Blindness, Gender Sensitivity, or Gendered Provocation? Modes and Possibilities of Translation

Abstract
The article considers the translatability of the gender of a text. Even texts whose themes and forms highlight gender as a result of the author's communicative purpose, political intention or imaginative work may lose their gendered meanings due to the shifts in gender-insensitive Czech translations.
