Abstract

The Polish minority in Czechoslovakia lived mainly in the territory of Teschen. Due to the fact that its status was resolved after the elections in 1920, the first representatives of the Polish minority were elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the National Assembly in 1925.

Ethnic issues, the question of official language and education, as well as problems related to land reform and the status of workers in Cieszyn belonged to the basic problems solved in the Chamber of Deputies.
