Abstrakt
The aim of the study was to investigate the benefi ts of the calculation of the Risk Ovarian Malignancy Algorithm (ROMA) index for the primary detection of ovarian cancer in a population of Czech women. Aware of the age distribution of ovarian cancer, we focused on post-menopausal patients.
In conclusion the HE4 together with that of CA125 determination and calculation of the ROMA2 index a suitable method for the improvement of the primary detection of ovarian cancer.
