Being outsidee the tima, appearance and the time: Some Aspects of the Conceptualization of Emotions and Feelings in the Czech Poetry

Abstract

The text deals with the conceptualization of emotions in Czech, especially with metaphor and metonymy conceptualization of sadness. It presents an analysis and interpretation of the Czech linguistic data, and some texts of modern Czech poetry, too.

Besides Cognitive linguistics and Ethnolinguistics (Lakoff - Jiohnson, Wierzbicka), the study is inspired by Heidegger's existential philosophy and Yalom's existential psychotherapy.
