Abstract
This article deals with the image of the male and female body in the Czech language and focuses mainly on the parts of the body that are connected with masculinity and femininity. It analyzes the vocabulary and phraseology related with the shape of male and female body as well as with their hair, beard, genitals etc.
It also deals with language taboos that exist in relationship with this issue.
