Abstract

Goal: Objectification of kinesiotaping used to influence the viscous and elastic properties of muscle tissue of musculus soleus. Hypothesis: It was assumed, that kinesiotaping decreases the muscle tone of selected muscle that was increased by acute or chronic problems with Achilles tendon and will help prepare the muscle to next physical performance.

Methods: The muscle tone was measured by myotonometer in Kinesiology laboratory, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University in Prague; muscle tone of eight students of this faculty was measured. Results: Kinesiotaping influenced viscous and elastic properties of musculus soleus, it decreased the muscle tone.
