Abstract

The project explored new trends and resolution of disputes in contemporary international law, especially for the impact of non-state actors in the institutes, which were previously referred exclusively to relations between states. The research team carried out research in various areas of present-day international law.

The complex nature of the topic had extraterritorial application of force against non-state actors in the context of international law, which has been examined primarily in terms of the legality of the use of force (jus ad bellum). Into account, however, was also taken into rules that belong to international humanitarian law (jus in bello) and international human rights law.

Instead of calling for new rules of international law here offers updated interpretation of existing rules, which would also take into account the importance of non-state actors.
