There are different interpretations of the short poem by Jan Erik Vold “jeg tror” (from spor, snø, 1970). The central point of view in this lecture leans against the notion of fictional world, which builds upon the background of analytical philosophy, structuralism and semiotics.
By presenting some of the basic theoretical premises of fictionality I will indicate a possible fiction-analysis of the poem, and thus show the instrumental value of this theoretical approach in the field of poetry.
