Abstract
The article anticipates the quality assurance systems as they are commonly understood in the contemporary industrial and business discoursus foccused on the information system branch. The denominations as quality, excellency and maturity are put together and this complex is chracterized in terms of chronological and philosophical evolution with emphasis on the western classical philosophy.
