Abstract
The monograph is focused on the history of the royal City of Nymburk in Central Bohemia and the municipal administration in the times of the Thirty Years’ War. The book contains chapters concerning the city council and other institutions, their everyday working and the influence of the war events, which hit the city extremely hard in 1631, 1634 and 1639-40.
