Abstract

The article seeks to analyze constructive vote of no-confidence in constitutions and political practice of a selected set of countries. The analysis is based on five key variables that help us understand and distinguish various versions of constructive vote of no-confidence.

This comparative analysis serves as a context, in which a government bill to introduce constructive vote of no-confidence to the constitution of the Czech Republic is assessed. The final chapter of this article discusses major strengths and weaknesses of the constructive vote of no-confidence.
