Abstract

This paper is aimed to clarify the concept of habitual residence as an important concept of private international law. The author highlights the differences in the understanding of habitual residence between two traditional purpose - domicile of the common law and habitual residence , which is linked to continental Europe and other variants of the translation of the term.
