Which Electoral System for the Czech Republic?

Abstract

This chapter analyses electoral engineering possibilities in the Czech Republic. The main political instrument for rationalizing the Czech parliamentary regime should be a reform of the electoral system for elections to the Chamber of Deputies.

The current proportional electoral system should be replaced by a double-ballot system.
