Abstract
Expansion of personal computers and increasing availability of access to the Internet allow to offer distance learning courses in the universities of the third age to seniors since 1998. Until now over 35 courses in the English language have been created.
They were compiled and recorded by the volunteers of the university teachers from different countries. Virtual University of the Third Age in the Czech Republic since 2008.
