The history, present and prospects of the Czech legislation on peaceful use of nuclear energy

Abstract

The article deals with with different problems arising from the current framework governing the peaceful use of nuclear energy in the Czech Republic. Taking the plans for issuing a brand-new "Nuclear Energy Act" into consideration, it identifies some important aspects, which should be adressed in the forthcomming legislation.
