Which Methods for Which Geography? On the Benefits of Geography and Inspiration from Other Disciplines

Abstract

This paper questions some ideas on the current state and preferred development of geography. Geography should develop its own approaches and stress original disciplinary contribution to knowledge.

The integration of partial epistemologies and knowledge about specific aspects of reality is considered to be the main contribution of geography.
