Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present partial results of the ongoing oral-historical qualitative research, which focuses on the analysis of narrative patterns of the Prague Spring in memory of former members of the Czechoslovak People's Army, who were after 1989, judicially or extrajudicially rehabilitated. Post summarizes the current state of research and introduces basic typology of narrative styles, interpretative patterns and stereotypes, including a possible explanation for the use of the concept of collective memory and discourse.
