Abstract
This paper focuses on the problem of ocean pollution, particularly the issue of plastic waste. The paper points out areas where the influence of ocean current cycles leads to accumulations of waste.
Then it describes how waste is transported to these areas. It also discusses problems caused by the accumulation of waste in the oceans.
