Fear of Anthropomorphism - Anthropomorphism as a feared mental approach

Abstract

In my paper I briefly deal with the issue of anthropomorphism, which can also be seen as an attempt to cope with the fear of differences from other animal species. This view raises a number of questions: What are the consequences of anthropomorphic looking at animals? It is much more beneficial or harmful? Is it even possible for Western man, regarded since ancient times as "the measure of all things", to think differently than anthropomorphically? And finally, is anthropomorphism a culturally relative category?
