Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) is a disease with a remarkably heterogeneous clinical course. Because diagnosis and therapy must be tailored individually according to patient age, comorbidities and therapeutic gaols and as the understanding of CLL has been deepening at considerable speed, the Czech CLL Study Group, the working party of the Czech Haematological Society, has developed the following guidelines to facilitate the diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making process in clinical practice.
These guidelines are based on a comprehensive analysis of current literature and follow the principles of evidence-based medicine.
