Abstract

In 2007-8 we examined the collection of probands (n = male / female = 301/64) suspected of having acquired a sexually transmitted disease at STD center in Prague. The probands were systematically questioned about their sexual and behavioral practices.

The respondents had been typical by symptoms of syphilis (87/31), by gonorrhea (122/23), by chlamydial infection (78/9) and by other STDs corcondantly with their high-risk sexual behavior (at the gay-male; non-use of contraception; early inception of sexual life; promiscuity etc). The results of the formal factor and ROC analysis include the association and the causal schemas describing the relationships between diagnosed STDs and their typical manifestations of risk sexual behavior.
