Abstract

In 2008 we have proved (in cooperation with Centre for Functional Disorders of Vision in Litomysl’s town hospital) the random selection of children with birth years 1997-2002 and we had analyzed the available data on the status of eye disorders in their right and left eye.Refractive error in children of preschool age and younger scholars has note "the symmetric nature of the findings“ in both eyes. (In fact, both eyes were examined in children either myopic or hypermetropic.) With increasing age of children is a clear shift from hyperopia to myopia. But we had found bythe more detailed analysis of the differential indicators, that the amount of asymmetric relation hold.

Purpose of this paper is to present, to document and to enlight our previous findings, to demonstrate the statistical methodology used to date and to instruct the professionals with the current state of our research aktivity in 2009.
