Intramedullary Astrocytoma - a Series of 15 Patients and Literature Overview

Abstract

Intramedullary astrocytoma is one of the less common tumors of the central nervous system. Some confusion in the literature led us to retrospectively evaluated our own series (2003-2009) and compared the results with the available literature.
