Abstract
Superficial phlebitis can be divided on the basis of pathogenesis, form which different therapeutic approaches are divided. The first is either the inflammation in the vascular wall (mostly sterile) leading to the thrombus formation, or the procoagulation state with secondary irritation of the vein.
