Abstract
We remember the life and work of B. Eiselt, who died 1908 - hundred years ago.
The importace of his activities is the support to the development of department of internal medicine at faculty of medicine in Prague ond foundation of Journal of Czech Physicians. These organizational activities are closery connected with his teacher J.E.Purkyne.
Eiselts most important contribution to medicine is the discovery of melanine in urine at melanoblastoma case.
