Abstract
We executed a study which examines the influence of androgens to skeletal issue within the transsexual group of female (female to male) after hysterectomy and ovariectomy. The average time of the treatment with androgens was 12 years, after a full sex change (beside the castration), sample (N = 36).
The blood sample was tested on testosterone, estradiol, FSH, LH, calcium, vitamin D and we also tested DEXA Hologic or DEXA Lunar prodigy. Despite of reduced level of estrogens we prove a positive influence of testosterone on the skeletal metabolism at the transsexuals
