Abstract

Antithrombotic and in particular anti-platelet therapy plays a crucial role in the prophylaxis of cardiovascular pandemics. The available therapeutic strategies often exhibited significant interindividual variability in the outcomes and the treatment failed in a sizeable proportion of patients or caused an unacceptable bleeding risk.
