MRI T2 relaxometry and quantification of iron in central grey matter structures in patients suffering from multiple sclerosis

Abstract

The aim of this work is to present new MRI techniques in MS diagnostics, which among others include quantitative processing of conventional MR scans. We focused especially on MRI T2 relaxometry.

T2 relaxometry is non-invasive method for quantification of the iron in vivo.
