Abstract
The renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system plays an important role in regulating blood pressure. ACE inhibitors and AT1 - blockers (ARBs) are a group of substances blocking this system, used in the treatment of hypertension, event. in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
