Abstract

The Prague grossus that is presented here is an unknown variety with the symbol of a trefoil as the dividing mark in all positions of the obverse image. Use of the heraldic lily for dividing mark on reverse of this coin can be associated with the sixth group of Castelin’s typology.

The author adds this new coin as well as two other previously published varieties unknown to Castelin to the sixth group of his typology and updates this group from three to six varieties.
