Effective treatment of unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia with oral bile salts in Gunn rats

Abstract

We tested the hypothesis that oral administration of bile salts, which are known to increase the biliary excretion of unconjugated bilirubin, decreases unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia.
