The authors present the results of qualitative and quantitative research realised by Ministry of Labour at the end of year 2008 "Burn-out syndrome in physicians of Medical Assessment Service, its causes and solutions". The results show that only approximately one fifth of the studied group is endangered by burn out syndrome, especially in relation to possible organizational changes.
The authors recommend concrete steps leading to restriction of origin and development of burn out syndrome. Regarding specific limitations of other medical fields the results of the study can be referenced to other medical professions.
