Abstract
Previous research has predominately focused on patients with schizophrenia as the instigators of violence acts. Recent data from the USA and UK show that people with schizophrenia are more often victims than perpetractors of violence.
While in those countries is victimisation quiet high, data from Czech Republic, where organization of mental health services is quiet different, are missing.
