Abstract
The study deals with the relation between two structures: the first of them is the urban space and the second one is the communication network. The basic assumption is that there are correspondences between these two levels and that we can create common models.
The starting point is done by Roland Barthes’ semiotic studies, Vilém Flusser’s communicology and, above all, the concept of rhizome, that was introduced and developed by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari.
