Screening the nutritional state upon admission of the child patient for hospitalization

Abstract

Malnutrition is not uncommon among hospitalized children but is often unrecognized and therefore not treated. The main task in the diagnosis of malnutrition is the screening for nutritional risk, identification of patients who require nutritional support.
