Abstract
Drug using is not a crime in the Czech Republic. Other way of illegal handling with drug, e.g. dealing, producing, possessions in large amount, i.e. primary drug - related crimes, are subject to criminal law.
From 1st January 2010 new Penal Code coming into effect: new Penal Code is a result of re-codification process of substantive criminal law. New law produce substantial changes in drug - related crimes include differentiation of drug by health and social risk factors.
New Penal Code extends type of punishment and change sentencing guidelines.
