What Kind of Episodes are Stored in Episodic Memory? On the Concept of Memory in Cognitive Science

Abstract

Human episodic memory and the nature of stored episodes is investigated. Psychological and phenomenal concept of memory is distinguished as well as various modalities of episodic experience (sense of space, time, scene, plot, etc.).

The process of episodic recollection is studied and tentatively the concept of hybrid memory and of the panaorama of individual life is introduced
