Abstract

Early diagnosis and early start of treatment is important in postponing disability in multiple sclerosis (MS), CNS disorder with autoimmune pathological features. Interferon beta and glatiramer acetate showed the ability to postpone second attack after clinically isolated syndrome suspected from MS, and decrease the inflammatory changes on MRI.

Hence, the treatment should be initiated in most patients as soon as possible to prevent tissue damage and axonal loss
