Binding of prion antibodies to white blood cells of nonhuman primates and the existence of washable pool of cellular prion protein associated with lymphocytes in peripheral blood

Abstract

Differences in the binding of prion protein to white blood cells of primates in dependence on their isolation procedure. Washing of white blood cells decreeses the binding of prion antibodies.
