Abstract

This is a case report of a female with viral hepatitis B, which appeared during the treatment of lymphoma with gyrostatics and biologics. The infection was detected during a follow-up examination of the contacts of her partner and its management was initially complicated.

Therefore, the combination therapy with lamivudine and tenofovir was selected; the treatment after a year led to viral suppression. The case demonstrates an important infectious complication of biological therapy.
