Abstract
Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery combines the advantages of thoracoscopy and open lung biopsy, allowing for a good indication, the friendly technology and experience to implement any toracosurgical performance. VATS may be the way to almost all toracosurgical operations, but especially resections should be restricted to experienced surgeons with excellent topographic orientation, delicate and anatomically precise technique.
The use of staplers and clips are not required.
